Tonight and tomorrow night for those on the east coast of the Americas, Australia or the Pacific Ocean - hopefully many of you will see a lunar eclipse in the form of a Blood Moon - the moon passes into the shadow of Earth called the umbra which gives it this rare beautiful appearance. This is the second red moon this year as the moon is currently going through a tetrad which means that this will happen another 2 times in six month successions.
So as you gaze up at the stars and fall deep into trance over this natural phenomenon, we hope that the red moon reminds you of the Flare Shisha red as you light up your coals for a smokey contemplation on the Universe and lifes big questions...
FLARE PICK UP LINES
"Baby it's cold outside....come here and warm up next to my Kaloud Lotus"
This is guaranteed to work successfully every time! Well when we say every time, we mean like most times. You know like every other time. Okay maybe like in 10% of scenarios. If you say it really quietly. No no, like in a whisper. Maybe make sure only you can hear yourself. That might be better. Okay maybe don't use this line. Actually never use this line and forget about ever reading this post. Sigh, this deescalated very quickly.
MADE PHOTO
Loving this superb picture sent in by @Maz_MADEPhoto and we couldn't agree more ;)
FLARE RINGS
Tonight we have a team shisha testing session - an in-depth evening pushing shisha boundaries and testing ideas for the new products we have working designs for. This evening has been highly anticipated by everyone on the team and for us it is the best way to end the week!
Happy Friday Smoke Rings Everyone!
(And yes we do shisha with red smoke. True Story.)
HISTORY III
Here we have a fantastically historic picture from 1980 of a Gaddi village man with a shisha pipe - this was taken on mountain path near Dharamsala, India.
NINJA HOOKAH
We come across some pretty amazing shisha pipe concepts and designs, but the Ninja Hookah concept just looks so subtle, yet so menacing.
#BENDGATE
You know what aluminium device won't bend under any pressure? Your solid one piece billet aluminium Aura handle.
THE GREAT INDOORS
As the first few days of Autumn swiftly comes around and settles in, the sun will feel crisper, the air feels lighter and the leaves will all change colour varying from bright yellows, warm oranges and hot reds. Enjoying this beautiful seasonal change however comes with the cost of colder evenings, thus, now comes the seasons of indoor shisha smoking!
Happy Autumn Smokes Everyone :)
SIGH...MONDAY MORNINGS.
I'm fairly certain we're allergic to Monday mornings...normal services will continue after the morning smoke.
THE DIVINE TITANESS OF THE BREEZE
If you have not yet experienced the quality smoother smoke from the Flare Aura hose, then you truly do not know what you are missing...
TOTES AWKY MOMO
Left that blasted window open again...
WHOOO...ARE...YOU?
Absolem the Caterpillar - Quite arguably our favourite shisha smoking character. Ever.
BECAUSE IT'S FRIDAY
The plumes ahh coming!
HISTORY II
Rudolf Ernst was an Austro-French painter who is best known for his orientalist motifs...but in his spare time he chilled with his favourite pipe.
PORSCHE DESIGN
With the inner stem, hose and handle all made from aluminium, this again is another luxurious shishia pipe made with superb engineering.
VOLCANO PLUME
Very recently I was asked how the smokes are in the Flare Shisha office - this video of Mount Tavurvur describes it quite perfectly.
(Enjoy with the speakers up or with headphones on loud!)
WITHOUT THE NCB
The difficulties faced when trying to light a solid coconut coal, without the NCB...
WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY II
The fox still says jam, chill out and give me some serious smokes and jokes.
HISTORY
The origin of the shisha pipe is from the time of the Persian empire (circa 1500) which extended into India to where it also spread during that time. Not to say that this image is from the 1500s, but it does display a strong sense of tradition wouldn't you say?
SHISHA BARBIE
Well lets not lie - that's going into the collection. Happy Bank Holiday Weekend from Flare!
